Me Monday

Hello all! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! Can you believe it’s August? In case you missed this morning’s post, scroll down…I’m running an August Special on my design services.

If you’re a blogger, you know that you need to keep things fresh on your blog in order to keep people interested. My dear friend and I have discussed many times ideas about new series and how important it is to add a bit of your personality in your posts. I mainly read design, decorating and fashion blogs, and when I think about my favorites, most of them always include a weekly post that gives us readers a peek inside their personal lives. I love that! I think I’ve been lacking in that area, so I’m starting a new little series called “Me Monday”. It’s a short and sweet snapshot of what I did over the weekend. That way, if you’re not friends with me on Facebook (which I love and would love to be your friend!), then we can stay connected here too!

This weekend we went to the beach for the first time this summer. And I don’t mean, we just brought our beach cruisers down to the beach and rode around to different bars. We actually laid on the sand! It was a perfect Saturday afternoon in Laguna!

We went with a few other friends and spent the afternoon basking in the sun, boogie boarding (not me, I’m deathly afraid of the water!) and tossing the football. This is my friend, Malori. She just married Nick’s friend, Naji.

After an afternoon on the beach, we headed to Las Brisas. I love this place for the views and the sea bass ceviche. Delish! A few of our other friends met us there for margaritas and it ended up being the perfect night!

Don’t you hate squinty eye pics?! It’s ok, I just couldn’t get over this view! If you’re in the area, you must swing by Las Brisas for a quick bite or margarita. the views are some of the best in Southern California!
