This past week I planted a garden, and what I mean by a garden is a few tomato plants, a pepper plant and some basil. Growing up, my parents always kept the most AMAZING garden with every kind of vegetable you could imagine – green beans, sweet corn, beets, cucumbers, carrots… you name it, they grew it. I sure enjoyed eating the fruits – I mean vegetables – of their labor, but helping out in the garden was something that I thoroughly disliked. I would have rather vacuumed, washed the dishes, rearrange the furniture, laundry – anything that would get me out of helping in the garden. I guess that is why I have been so reluctant to grow my own garden. Now I realize that growing a garden wasn’t something my parents HAD to do, but they really enjoyed it. It is peaceful and beneficial for you to get your “hands in the dirt”.
I’ve been shopping around for garden tools and accessories and I came across these nifty little items! Place Twist and Spout on your soda or water bottles and instantly give them renewed life as ergonomic pourers! Fits virtually any soda or water bottle with a screw-on cap. Use the Garden spout to create an instant watering can; use the Kitchen spout to make those big two-liter soda bottles easier to handle and pour from. A real space-saver for small spaces.
You can get the Twist and Spout by Nicolas Le Moigne, for $8 at: Re-Modern.com
