GIVEAWAY: $225 Sleep Number In Balance Sheet Set

Last night was the first night that we slept on our new Sleep Number In Balance Sheets, courtesy of Sleep Number (thank you very much!). I’m happy to report, we slept like babies! Not sure if that was due to the margaritas we had before bed, or the sheets, but lets just say it was the sheets! No, but really, these sheets are pretty cool. They have a temperature balancing technology that absorbs extra heat and minimizes temperature swings. Out of the four colors choices, I chose the crisp, clean white sheets. I always lean towards the white because I really like pretending that I’m in a hotel and also, you can bleach them if need be.
 

THE GOOD: These sheets are uber soft. I wanted to see if this “temperature balancing technology” was legit, so I did a test run and did not leave my AC running, and honestly, I did not wake up in a sweat. The cool comfort of the sheets helped me sleep straight through the night. I absolutely LOVE the extra deep pockets and I also LOVE the handy dandy elastic bands at each corner that ensure they stay in place. I also love that I was sleeping on a $200 sheet set. Sweet! Nick gave them an 8 out of 10 on the “kick ass sheet” meter. I’d give them an 8, as well.

THE BAD: I have only washed them once, and it seems as if they may start pilling soon. They haven’t yet, but they do seem that they might have a tendency to do so. I washed them according to the directions – cool water, gentle cycle, low heat in the dryer. Other than that, I’d recommend them.
