Hi all! I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was jam packed full of fun and friends! Last Thursday night, my girlfriends, Tina and Colleen, and I went to Mastro’s in Beverly Hills to celebrate Colleen’s birthday! As you know by now, I love Mastro’s and the one in Beverly Hills is my favorite! We got to sit at the piano table and have “steaming” cosmos! So delish!
The night wasn’t complete without their famous pretzel bread and butter cake, so we threw that in there on top of our filet and mac n’ cheese! So good! It’s always such a fun time getting dressed up and going out with the ladies!
We had another birthday to celebrate on Saturday night. Our friend Tim’s. We spent the night at the Elephant Bar, which is a funky little dive bar in Monrovia at the Aztec Hotel. It was pretty cool. They had a classic rock band playing, which I always love and the drinks were stiff. Fantastic!
There were a few DIY projects thrown in the mix throughout the weekend as well as a bit of shopping at Victoria Gardens. I found some super cute rain boots which I wish I had last week when it was down pouring! I also tried this great restaurant here in La Verne, called Taste of Asia. I’ve lived here for almost 4 years and cannot believe I hadn’t tried that place yet. Excellent food and presentation and awesome service!
It was a great weekend, but now I’m ready to get back to work! I have a busy week ahead of me, including a couple new client meetings, which I’m really excited about! Here’s to a great week!
