Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I’m FINALLY feeling better after having the flu for 3 whole weeks! The sun is shining and I’ve got a full Monday ahead of me! There are two new restaurants in La Verne that recently opened – The House of Wings and The Patio. This weekend I got to try both! The House of Wings and I loved (very cool atmosphere and a full bar) and The Patio left little to be desired (could’ve been the time of day we were there – 3pm on a Saturday), besides their delicious hummus and grape leaves!

One of Nick’s favorite past times is hitting balls at the range using a disc golf basket, so this time I decided to come with and watch him. It was actually really peaceful and relaxing.

We also spent some time in Newport Beach, which is always fun for Nick and I because that’s where we first met. I spotted him across the bar almost 5 years ago now and we’ve been together ever since! The weather was a little chilly, but the sunset was gorgeous!
