“Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up.”
―A. A. Milne
Yesterday I had a bad case of “needing to get my desk, kitchen and bathroom all in order” before I sat down and started working. I’m thinking it is a type of procrastination. Anyone else out there who struggles with this?

This happens to me all the time but I really don't think it's procrastination. Sometimes I just really need to know that there is order around me so that I can think clearly. It's also less distracting when you know things are cleaned up and put away.
Fantastic quote! I have that problem as well. But then too often get distracted in the midst of my organizing by another project that needs to get to done. Ahh well.
I totally agree! I'm sooo much more productive when I have everything in order! And I think we, as women, are great at multi-tasking and that is why we take on more projects in the midst of getting another one done!
I seem to start working then think…I need to organise my files on my laptop..and I can be doing it for an hour, the same with music!
Like the quote, lots.

Yes! I do the same thing! First of all, I cannot work until everything around me is organized and clean. Then then when it is, I can always find more things to organize and clean…it never ends!
PS. Loving the way the three columns look 🙂
Thanks Crystal! You're the best!
And yes, order is completely necessary to even think about starting a new project!
My desk is a constant battle. It is mainly the mail that piles up and the odd and end papers I accumulate!
Desks are always a hard one, just get in and do it. Sometimes I cant work until its clean, other times I just push it all to the side.
I could not agree with you more. When procrastinating, things around my house get very organized! Love this post!
