THE IDEA: Unique Guest Book with guest’s fingerprints as their signature
Love it or hate it?
I really like this idea! I think about a guest book and what the heck am I going to do with it afterwards? Store it in a box in my closet, that’s what! This way, I get a piece of art out of the deal. I’m thinking maybe a black background with grey and white balloons. I know who will be at my wedding, I don’t need a bunch of signatures to remind me! Guests can easily clean off the ink with hand sanitizer. Perfection! Do you have any other ideas for a unique guest book?

I've seen this before and thought it was such a cute idea! You really would enjoy it more every day than you would a traditional guest book.
I heart this idea! Seriously you should do it. You can't pass up one. such a great reminder of the day and two. pretty cheap artwork!
Very cute but I have some crazy friends that would think it's hilarious to put their thumbprints in inappropriate places.
Okay here is the wedding I styled, I did something simple for their guestbook where I had a brandy vase and guest left words of wisdom etc for the couple and put it in there.

Also my favorite is the wishing well tree. Where you use branches and create a nice centerpiece of sorts and guests can leave notes on the tree to look like "leaves". It's also in the link above.
Hope this inspires you
Hey Jami, I felt the same way. I took our engagement photos, and made a black and white photo book for my coffee table on Blurb. It turned out so gorgeous, I was so happy with it. I put black sharpies out in a glass cup and people could sign the pages. People always love reading it on my coffee table, and I get so many complements on it.
