This week’s weekend warm up inspiration comes from my little get away to Santa Barbara that I had with my Sweetheart over Valentine’s weekend. While we were wine tasting, we enjoyed, hands down, THE BEST white wine I’ve ever tried! It is called Verdelho and the brand we tasted was from Oreana Winery. I prefer red wines over white wines, but this little beauty is known as “THE white wine for red wine drinkers”. (And at about $22 a bottle, you can’t go wrong!)
“Verdelho was once Portugal’s most common white wine, but centuries of market trends towards chardonnay have left it nearly extinct . . . until now. With the flavors of tropical fruit and guava, and the supple body that makes Viognier so seductive, Verdelho is destined for popularity. A wonderfully rich honey-suckle wine that goes great with Asian cuisine, spicy foods and sushi, this wine will be gone before most people know what they are missing.”
Another fabulous find that I saw at Oreana was this riddling rack that they are using to hold small succulents. How cool?!

Ok wow you are gorgeous!!! Oh and regarding your comment I would love to get together with you if we ever move back to San Diego! We have both decided that if we live in the States, San Diego is our home so it is where we most likely want to settle someday after all of our crazy travels are over. 🙂
