This looks so yummy and tasty! I love that this drinks includes FRESH cherries! How divine. There was one summer about a decade ago, when I and a few of my girlfriends worked in Door County Wisconsin. I served tables at this super cute inn, owned by a fabulous young couple, called the Church Hill Inn. Door County is known for their cherries, and this drink reminded me of it! Cherry picking season is right around the corner for them, so if you’re in that area of the country, it’s a must!
In a cocktail shaker, press and mix the simple syrup, cherries and lime quarters with a muddler or wooden spoon. Add the rum and 6 ice cubes. Shake hard and pour everything into a rocks glass.
Yield: 1 drink.
